Good Habits for New Muslims to Develop (Week 4)

Welcome to Week 4! 👋

This week we read a short article called ‘Good Habits for New Muslims to Develop.’

Our focus is Vocabulary in Context — this means: figuring out what a word means by reading the sentences around it, without using a dictionary.

You will learn 2 simple strategies:

✅ Strategy 1 — Definition Clue: the text explains the word after a semicolon (;)

✅ Strategy 2 — Example Clue: the text gives an example of what the word means

And 1 special strategy for PAI students:

🕌 Strategy 3 — Islamic Knowledge: use what you already know about Islam!

By the end, you will:

• Understand 5 important English words from the text
• Know which strategy helped you find the meaning
• Complete a short quiz (10 questions)
